LRDG patrol maps

Two maps showing the areas of North Africa which were patrolled by the Long Range Desert Group (LRDG). LRDG were out and about in the desert watching German and Italian troop and supply movements, and bringing back a wealth of detail which was fundamental for the operational planners. The LRDG was the precursor of the SAS and modern clandestine reconnaissance units.
